GentleBirth - Taking the Hard Work out of Labour

    Saturday, November 3, 2007, 09:56 AM [General]

    Hi everyone,

Welcome to my GentleBirth blog ! I'm very excited with the continued success of the Gentlebirth program. I'm looking forward to sharing this wonderful childbirth program with mums and those involved in caring for birthing mothers all over the world. Calm, gentlebirths are the way of the future.

Based on my very successful guide to childbirth - The Better Birth Book, GentleBirth brings you a complete childbirth antenatal course that teaches the stages of labour and birth, prebirth bonding with your baby, informed decision making, ways to communicate more effectively with your midwife or doctor, breastfeeding, baby calming and much more.

In addition to it's comprehensive childbirth and pregnancy information, GentleBirth teaches mum easy self hypnosis techniques that allow her to deeply relax instantly and easily with or without a birth partner to assist her.

Within days of beginning the program mum's confidence increases and she starts to look forward to her baby's birth. Mums find they can think about labour without any of the anxiety they had even a few days ago. The more they use the program the more their confidence increases and they begin to enjoy a much more relaxed pregnancy. The benefits don't stop there - being relaxed and confident during labour can significantly reduce the need for epidurals, unnecessary interventions and often shortens labour.

The most unique part of the GentleBirth program is that mum's receive ongoing support from the GentleBirth team throughout their pregnancies. As an experienced hypnotherapist, doula and DONA International Doula trainer I am available to answer any questions Mums have about hypnosis, labour and post natal care as they plan for their calm, GentleBirths.

Gentlebirth is already a big hit in Australia due to the hard work of Pablo at the Phoenix Center http://www.phoenixcentre.com.au/

The program launches in the US this month and will be exclusively available online at http://www.banyanhypnosismall.com/

Birth hypnosis is one of the most rewarding and exciting areas of hypnosis. If you are interested in distributing Gentlebirth in your country so more women (and their babies) can experience calm, confident, fear free births please don't hesitate to contact me.
